I decided to keep Excel Saga, on the grounds that it's bonkers. I hope whoever picks up Full Metal Alchemist when I take it to the charity shop enjoys it as much as I did.

Anecdote
The new household regulations imposed on our new bookcase mean that I can only keep either my Excel Saga or Full Metal Alchemist series, both of which have 27 volumes and neither of which did I want to lose.
