The everyday blog of Richard Bartle.
As it says above, this is the everyday blog of Richard Bartle (that's me).
It's a place for the various observations, anecdotes and rants I have that
don't really merit their own page elsewhere on my sprawling
web site. The "everyday" bit is to flag that it doesn't concern my
research (which I direct towards Terra Nova instead).
The name of the blog is QBlog, because it's written using a program of
that name ("Quick Blog" — it took me about a day to write). The
logo shows the cube of a logarithm ("cube log"; yeah, it's
a poor pun), the main purpose of which is to scare off passers-by who may
think it's about mathematics and stuff...
There isn't any way for readers of this blog (should it get any) to leave
comments. You can always email me
if you feel you want to say something, but you can't attach anything to
a posting directly. This is partly because I don't want to have to do any
administration, and partly because it means I won't feel obliged to respond
to every single comment made, no matter how bizarre it may be.
Have fun!
Richard
