Castle in the Square

Anecdote

This pink castle has been built in Colchester for the Christmas period.

Apparently, it has lights inside that are switched on at 4pm, showing Colcestrian scenes in its stained-glass windows. It was made by the Mercury Theatre props department because they don't have anything else to do at the moment.

That's what I was told by the complete stranger who approached me while I was taking the photo, anyway.
