Anecdote
This morning, the moon was somewhat further away from Venus than yesterday, so I was expecting to do much the same as I do every morning when I see the moon: not take a photo because why would I?
However, I did take a photo because the moon had conveniently moved closer to another planet.
The bright dot top right is Venus. The less-bright-but-still-visible dot at about 5 o'clock from the moon is Jupiter.
I told my wife it was probably Mars, but she doesn't read my blog so I should be safe from unimpressing her.
