In 2011, I mentioned that an illustration of a drunk woman that appeared in the newspaper was one I'd seen many times before. I was reminded of this today when the same image appeared in a BBC news article.
There are many, many copies on the Internet of this image. A reverse image search on Google shows them in 106 different sizes. The original source is called A Woman Drinker Slumps on the Pavement and is sold by Getty Images.
The picture was taken 5th February, 2005. So, that's 12, almost 13 years ago, then.
I wonder what the woman's up to now?
