Anecdote
I'm very, very busy at the moment. Last year at this time, my non-academic work was pretty well moribund, but this year it's really taken off. I 'm consulting for a company doing a Facebook game, another doing an iPhone/iPad game, another doing a Facebook and an iPhone game, another doing a number of Facebook games, and another that's a AAA MMO developer. I have a talk at MIT next month, followed by one at Bristol.
I'm now beginning to wish that I hadn't made the Lua assignment that's due in on Thursday quite so exacting...
