Weird
This German exchange student we have staying with us appears to have got super-tall without actually eating anything. She seems to have a dislike of almost all foodstuffs. We gave her a shepherd's pie, and she only ate the mashed potato; we gave her a spaghetti bolognese and she only ate the spaghetti. She only eats the white parts of fried eggs, and all she'll have for breakfast is Frosties. She doesn't like sweets, except for Skittles. If it weren't for the power of chips and apples, she'd have starved to death.
Yet somehow she's managed to grow 8 inches taller than my same-age daughter. Gawd knows how tall she'd be if she liked more food.
