Weird

In St Helier there's a column with a statue of a toad on top of it.

I walked past this statue several times over two days, and it always had a seagull perched atop it. I don't know if it was the same seagull or whether they take it in turns, but it was never unoccupied.

There's always a bird on top of the toad, but no matter what it does, the toad remains a toad.

Ah, more political metaphors.
