Anecdote
I wandered around Santa Cruz de Tenerife yesterday. It's eminently walkable, although I could have done without the heat. In the evening, I changed into a new shirt that wasn't sweat-stained (it turns out pre-pandemic deodorant doesn't work post-pandemic) and promptly spilled carrot soup on it. I usually bring a spare shirt with me when I go abroad, but Ryanair's stingy baggage allowance put paid to that idea. I may have to buy a replacement in Tenerife, but I think I'll just brazen it out in the stained one because that will stop people from wanting to talk to me.
Here's the building where I did my presentation:
It's the Adán Martín auditorium. The big curvy roof has no functionality beyond making people want to photograph it, which is of course the most important feature of a prestige signature building.
More photos will probably follow when I get home and have access to a decent image-processing program (well, Corel Photopaint anyway).
