I used to receive a thousand spam emails a day, but after I started bouncing them back if they weren't to mud.co.uk addresses that I specifically listed, it dropped to around a hundred a day. For example, from 1st February to 7th February inclusive I received 852 items of spam email.
From 1st to 7th March inclusive, I received 607 items of spam email. That's 245 fewer — a drop of over a quarter.
I don't know if this is anything to do with the conflict going on in eastern Europe, but I suspect it is.
Interestingly, only two emails so far have attempted to get me to send money to what they claim are funds supporting the people of Ukraine. Both of these involved cyprocurrencies, perhaps unsurprisingly.
