Miscellaneous
Lots of people send charity Christmas cards. This was a card sent to us from Guernsey:
Tom Bowdidge was one of my younger daughter's schoolfriends who died of Leukemia in his teens. A charity was set up in his name to support children with cancer, and last week it reached the milestone of having raised £1,000,000 since it began in 2014.
If the reach of its charity Christmas cards extends to Guernsey, it'll reach £2,000,000 well before another seven years have elapsed.
