Anecdote
I was examiner for a PhD viva voce last week which, thanks to Covid-19, took place over Microsoft Teams.
I hadn't used Teams before. I don't want to use it again. It pops up every time I log in, as if it thinks I'm actually interested in what it has to tell me.
Well, it popped up. This morning, I had the great pleasure of uninstalling it. It put up no resistance, meekly accepting its fate as if it knew it was inevitable.
I'm not a fan of too-eager-to-please programs, but at least it pleased me with its graceful acceptance of defeat.
