Anecdote
I was on campus this morning, being interviewed about cloud gaming. Being a scrupulous, even-handed academic, I gave many arguments for and many arguments against; it's therefore for the editor to determine whether I look to be in favour of the concept or against it.
It'll probably go out on ITV local news programmes 3 or 4 days from now, which means that whatever my view as presented turns out to be, I won't be receiving any threatening letters. This is because no-one who watches ITV local news plays computer games.
After filming my piece, the news-gatherer went to Colchester to interview a restaurant owner about now being able to serve people food outside because of the relaxing of lockdown restrictions; this, on a day that began with snow on the ground.
