Anecdote
The recent high winds seem to have had an effect on the large ash tree that borders our garden.
Our neighbour who lives in the bungalow had a narrow escape there.
The tree is on her side of the property line, and she has it checked every year to see what condition it's in. It's a haven for wildlife, especially birds, so she doesn't want it chopped down. Nevertheless, the tree surgeon may need to be a little more ruthless with it next time round.
