More antique playing cards! I did warn you...
OK, so these are the Coeur edition of deck Patiencespiel No. 44 by VASS ("Vereinigte Altenburger und Stralsunder Spielkartenfabriken AG"). They're based on a Dondorf pattern (Dondorf was bought up by a company that VASS then bought up), which explains why they look gorgeous.
They're not particularly old: their back was in use 1947-1972, so they could be younger than I am. The VASS logo on the 7H is in black, rather than red, which might mean later rather than earlier (or possibly vice versa). They didn't come with a box, and they should have a joker but don't. Given that they only cost £8.99, though, I don't care.
The size, for those of you who link to know these things, is 44mm by 66mm.
