I'm not sure, but I think it's the first snow we've had all year (as in the whole of 2020, not as in this season).
It won't last, but it will make putting up our decorations feel more Christmassy.

Anecdote
This may not be impressive for people in parts of the world where snow has been regularly dumped to a depth of two metres since the end of September, but it's rather unusual for Essex on December 4th.
