Exams are marked anonymously, so I've no idea who the students concerned were. If they see this, though, they can take comfort from knowing that relatively speaking their handwriting is actually not all that bad.

Anecdote
Now that the final-year students have graduated, it's safe for me to show the comments that two of them made in their CE317 examination answer booklet, along with my responses.
