The answer to yesterday's "guess the candidate" poser is ... Conservative.
As he's been our MP for the past eternity and will be for the next eternity, too, most of his leaflet is devoted to telling us what he did when he was an MP that we might not disapprove of much. He's a trained singer and enjoys music, carpentry, sailing and fishing. He's also involved in a number of army charities, I suspect from the days when the garrison was part of the constituency.
The Conservatives seem to have left their campaign literature to as close to the polling day as they could, so as to make sure that the messages weren't lost on us. They've also used some kind of targeting: my wife and I received separate and different leaflets, with hers twice the size of mine. Mine has a "defeat Corbyn" vibe to it and my wife's is more about local issue for local people with local votes who want to Unleash Britain's Potential.
Good luck with that, Conservatives.
