Anecdote
Ha! All those weeks of torment filling in Cadenza D3 applications has come to fruition! Once the paperwork goes through, I'll be a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. More letters after my name!
I don't know what the letters will be, mind you, as two days ago the HEA merged with two other organisations to form a new organisation called Advance HE. I think they'll probably be SFHEA, though, for consistency.
Why no-one thought to point out that Advance HE is not the best name in the context of a profession often accused of rampant gender imbalance, I don't know.
