Anecdote
I had to speak to another of my students today about why he was missing lectures. He's a very capable student, so I don't really have any worries, but those forms have got to be filled in.
The particular lectures he was missing were at 9 o'clock on a Monday morning. When I asked him why he was missing them, he said it was because they were at 9 o'clock on a Monday morning.
I can't fault his honesty.
