She's the Spunky Princess out of my old JavaScript game, Spunky Princess. Amazingly, she was hand-crocheted by Carlos Diaz, a PhD student from Colombia/Denmark/Germany who visited the IGGI group for a month earlier in the year and endeared us all to him.
I think he should forget the PhD and crochet game characters full time.
