Anecdote
I got a new phone today. Well, I got it last weekend, but I only obtained the nano-sized SIM card today (I've been effectively phoneless since Saturday).
This one, which is a Samsung S6, has much less bloatware on it than the S5, and it doesn't look as if I'll be having to hit the Internet to find out how to remove its most irritating features.
That said, when I installed the anti-virus software (which was the second app I installed, after Skype), it did a scan and pronounced all 361 apps to be virus-free. I suspect I may be taking the uninstall hammer to a few of those once they show themselves.
