Anecdote
I usually wear my scarf with a bit down the front and the rest thrown over my shoulder, like Jean-Paul Belmondo in this picture. Jean-Paul aside, not many other people wear their scarf that way, but today I saw a student who did.
Unfortunately, said student was showing around prospective undergraduates and was wearing a jacket upon which the words "WE ARE ESSEX" were written, with "WE ARE" on one line and "ESSEX" on the next. The scarf covered the "WE" and the first two letters of "ESSEX".
It wouldn't surprise me if we got more acceptances from today's visit than we usually do.
