Anecdote
It's the 20th anniversary of Furcadia this week, and to celebrate Dr Cat is hosting a Gaming Legends event. It's basically a streamed chat show with close to 30 guests appearing over the course of the programme, all of whom have been in the games industry for at least 20 years (and therefore tend to be male, middle-aged and reprobate). There are some amazing how-did-he-get-him-to-come? guests on the list, plus me.
It starts at 7pm UK time and carries on until 6pm tomorrow. I'm on at 8:30, and will overlap with Matt Mihaly at 8:45 and Damion Schubert half an hour later (both of whom, coincidentally, were the technical reviewers for my 2003 book). We're supposed to have some amusing anecdotes to tell, so I guess Matt may have to be brought in early as I don't have any.
Anyway, it'll be on the Twitch front page, or at http://twitch.tv/doctor_cat for the direct link. Further event info is at http://furcadia.com/legends.
