Anecdote
I'm putting together my CE810 lectures for when I teach the module in November (one week done, the other yet to do). I've just had to replace a slide that took me half an hour to put together last year. This is it:
I had to replace it because 100 years ago is now 1915, not 1914.
Oh well, probably just as well, given that few students will be aware of who Bob Hope and Buster Keaton were. I'm hoping they'll still be able to recognise Charlie Chaplin, though, or my replacement slide for this year (which also took half an hour to put together) is going to be a washout.
