When the much-anticipated Tokyo expansion for The Secret World came out, the consensus among players was that it was a huge disappointment. There wasn't a lot to do, and what there was involved grind grind grind. Players joked that the content would probably be added later in packs we'd have to pay for.
Hmm. It turns out that the jokes were right. Yesterday, a Tokyo mission pack was release containing content that should have been there from the beginning.
This kind of nickel-and-diming is not a good thing. Funcom's finances must be in quite a parlous state for them to risk such long-term damage for such short-term gain.
