Anecdote
It rained all day today, which meant for a fairly miserable experience for me. I'm now fairly confident that I have a cold, which means that when I go on my consultancy gig at the weekend I'll look as if someone has bashed my face onto a brick wall.
The worst of this cold is that it comes with a cough. Because of this I had to duck out of climbing to the top of the cathedral:
This is the first time I've ever done this on a holiday. Normally I climb up them no problem. Today, though, I figured I'd have trouble breathing and would be coughing for most of the time, so I had to pass. I'm very disappointed, but there's not a lot you can do when you're ill.
I completely ran out 0f tissue papers from the hotel room and had to buy some more. I'm not hungry, although I do have some Cadbury's Dairy Milk I brought with me. It worked wonders, but I jave to give 75% of it awy to everyone else, so it's not a long-term solution.
I'm thoroughly glum.
