Weird
I just bought a book about character design in novels. It uses player types as one of several ways that authors can create self-consistent, different characters. The reason for this is that player types tells you how characters of different types interact with one another. It uses Harry Potter book characters as examples: Draco Malfoy is a killer; Hermione Granger is an achiever; Luna Lovegood is an explorer; Harry Potter is a socialiser.
It's getting to the stage where I'm better known for player types than I am for co-inventing virtual worlds.
