Anecdote
(Beaming with pride).
I really impressed someone today. The person concerned was my doctor: the cyst in the inner corner of my left eye's upper eyelid is the largest one she's seen since medical school.
She's referred me to the hospital, where someone trained in excisiting eyelid cysts will remove it, hopefully along with the smaller one in the middle of the same eyelid. I should hear from them in about two weeks.
A surgically-sharp knife in close proximity to my eyeball: what could possibly go wrong?
