Anecdote
We didn't go on any trips today because elder daughter Jenny had to cut her hols short to go attend some World Student Atheist conference in Oslo. Yes, Oslo: when I was in Stuttgart, Amy Winehouse was shot dead by a polar bear there or something. I think Jenny will be fairly safe, though.
The weather in Salzburg brightened up, at least in the sense that it stopped raining:
