If you only have one file 3.16k in length to submit to the Electronic Coursework Submissions site, you don't have to put it in a directory and then compress that directory using a compression system so obscure that the only reason I have it installed is because someone like you did exactly the same thing two years ago. The 2.02k bytes you save are not worth the time it takes me to get at your actual file.
