Anecdote
In my travels around San Antonio, I came across an IHOP. Having previously missed out on a visit to this American institution, I determined that on my final morning in the city I would breakfast there. Here's what I had:
That's pancakes, banana, strawberries out of a tin and cream out of a spray can. The things on the right were, I believe, hash browns. I ate them first and then the pancakes for desert.
Here's the proof it was at the IHOP:
You can tell because they mis-spelled my name as BIRTIA even though I told them it letter by letter.
So, what did I think of the International House of Pancakes after my long wait to eat there? Well, it may be cheap slop, but it's tasty cheap slop; I'd eat there again.
