It's 9:25 here in Leipzig and the sun hasn't gone down yet.
In the UK, there's a movement to switch from GMT to CET, ostensibly because that will save energy in winter. If that were true, though, there would be a similar movement here in Germany, but there isn't one. That's because the actual reason people want to change the clocks in the UK is so they share a time zone with the rest of Western Europe — energy saving has nothing to do with it.
Sorry, it just annoys me...
