Anecdote
When my brother died, some of the people who knew him put some money into erecting a bench in his name. I think it's going in a pub or a bar or something, but at the moment it's in my sister-in-law's house being varnished (3 coats so far) and sat on (when the varnish is dry). I took this photograph of the inscription yesterday:
