When I packed prior to coming out here to Atlanta, I checked on he weather to see what I should be taking with me. It said 18 degrees Celsius, 100% chance of precipitation. OK, so no need for gloves and scarf, but take an umbrella.
This made sense, too. Look at a map of the USA: Georgia is right there, just above Florida. Even in December, the weather is going to be mild. No need for me to bring a coat or a jumper, it'll be relatively mild. After all, Atlanta is further south than Los Angeles.
So why did it SNOW ON ME when I walked over to the Georgia Tech campus this afternoon?!
