So, I'm off to Iceland tomorrow.
Yes, it's a bit of a surprise to me, too. I'm on a panel at the EVE Online Fan Fest, but I didn't know I was going until yesterday. I don't play EVE, but in design terms it's my favourite from the current crop of virtual worlds, so it should prove interesting.
I've never been to Iceland before and when I went into Colchester today I was unable to find any Icelandic Krona (which, given that the population of Colchester is about a third that of Iceland, is perhaps no big surprise). I'm hoping there's going to be a cash machine at the airport when I arrive, or I could be in trouble...
As usual, my replies to emails may be fitful or non-existent while I'm away, and although I'll update QBlog daily that doesn't mean I'll be able to upload it daily. Still, they apparently have free wireless in the hotel so I have high hopes.
