When I was a student, I bought a can of light oil for bicycle maintenance purposes. That would be in 1979. Since then, I've used that same can of oil for lubricating door hinges, tools, locks, lawnmowers and pretty well anything else that needed lubricating.
Today, some 28 years later, it finally ran out. I had to start on a new can.
If this one lasts as long as the last one, I'll be 75 years old when I need a replacement.
