Things in the Attic

Weird

These things hang from the roof in our attic:

I've no idea what they are, they've been there since we bought the house over 10 years ago. I suspect they're probably nothing more serious than alien artefacts from a distant planet that are best left alone.

Maybe I should create an ARG and innocently slip in a picture of them. That would get me the answer to what they are, soon enough.
