It's my birthday today, and I'm happy to have survived another year.
I'm particularly happy as I once heard on the radio that people who have multiple heart attacks normally get their first one at age 46.
Talking of the radio, this morning's BBC Essex birthday tune (which is usually playing when the radio alarm goes off) was something by Steely Dan, on account of how Donald Fagen, their singer/pianist, was born 12 years earlier than me. I'd heard the track before, but don't know what it was called — I'm guessing Reelin' in the Years.
Oh well, at least it wasn't Frank Sinatra Jr.
