Authority has been given for UK surgeons to carry out a full-face transplant. This followed long deliberations regarding the ethics of such an operation, considering how much a person's face is integral to their identity.
I don't recall this "you are who you look to be" argument being raised in the recent controversy about veil-wearing.
Maybe they should restrict face transplants to those Moslem women who need them?
