I was on the radio today. Steve Scruton, who for some obscure reason was presenting the Dave Monk Show on BBC Essex, listened to me embarrass myself in public for 11 minutes before ending my pain. Transcript here.
I was contacted the previous day because there was a BBC report quoting a senior Electronic Arts executive who said that that the computer games industry was failing women. BBC Essex got in touch with the University of Essex asking for them to put up someone to discuss the issue authoritatively, but, its being the holiday period and all, I had to do instead.
Immediately after the interview finished, my younger daughter (who's round my mother's today) phoned and asked for a pink PlayStation.
