Advance warning: I'm being interviewed live on BBC Radio Essex tomorrow morning at around 7:20am regarding the online games degree they mentioned today. Set your alarms (for 7:25am).
It turns out that External Relations issued a press release about the merger of the Computing and Electronics departments, not my new course, which is why they didn't feel the need to tell me about it. Bah! Online games is mentioned right at the bottom as an example of a new course already in development. Luckily for me, the news desk at BBC Radio Essex read that far down the page.
The chances that prospective students will be out of bed at 7:20am are slim, of course, but you never know.
