Weird
I got a postcard yesterday:
It's from Turkey. The pen marks on the smoke are added in afterwards, they're not part of the picture.
On the back, it says:
Some progress seems to be made in ideas of perception, and the kinds of "documentary" for sharing perception. Step by step. Validation is a difficult question. If I describe an invalid art work, it sounds like it would also be invalid science. Yet, invalid science can be good art work.
Greetings. Jonathan B.
Hmm. I'm guessing it's from Jonathan Belson, an ex-Essex University person who played a lot of text adventures, but I haven't heard from him in 3 years. It could equally well be from someone I've never heard of, or from some other Jonathan B. I do know but who's getting blocked from recall by the name I came up with first.
The text of the message seems, in its form, eerily like that of my A Post-Modernist Essay, too.
Well, Jonathan B., whoever you are, if you wanted to bug me to distraction, you succeeded!
