Anecdote
I just heard that legendary game designer Sid Meier will be in London next week to meet fans of Civ4. I could easily pop into London next week and be a fanboy.
Of course, if he's anything like his most recent game he'll start off perky enough but rapidly slow down, speak with gaps in his voice, start to lose his memory, sit around unresponsive for 15 minutes at a time while he looks at his notes, then eventually he'll freeze mid-gesture and the only way to unfreeze him will be to evacuate the building and burn it to the ground.
Still, he is Sid Meier...
