Time Flies

Comment

When I was a kid, an hour used to seem to last forever, but now it passes in next to no time. I used to regard a car journey of one hour with the same kind of dread I'd now regard one of four or five.

My theory is that however old you are, the length of time you've lived always feels the same. Thus, when you're a kid, an hour is a much greater percentage of your life than it is when you're an adult, so it seems much longer.
