Outburst
I get about a thousand emails a day, most of them spam, and most of them handled by my spam filter. Some pieces of spam do get through, however, and waiting for me today were two pieces entitled: "South Asia Tsunami Relief Efforts Need More Cash Donations -- tax-deductable for 2004 according to IRS".
This is not normal spam. This is a scammer attempting to persuade people to give money to a desperately needy cause via a Post Office box in Maryland. The level some some people will sink to beggars belief.
It's already been reported on news.admin.net-abuse.sightings, not that this really means much.
