The Independent reports that George Psaradakis went back to work yesterday. Mr Psaradakis was the driver of the bus which was blown up on 7th July — an explosion that killed 14 passengers but not him.
According to the report:
Mr Psaradakis said he was in no doubt how he survived the explosion. "I would like to thank God Almighty and the Virgin Mary who helped me come out of that bomb-struck bus alive."
Come on, God and the Virgin Mary, it doesn't take two of you miraculsously to save one person. Couldn't maybe Mary have gone off and saved someone else on the bus instead?
