I managed to keep my new shoes bright and shiny for ten whole days, until I went to a chippy for lunch and accidentaly touched my finger on the all-metal teapot. My super-fast reactions cut in and I withdrew my hand in an instant, unfortunatly knocking over the side dish of mushy peas I'd bought. They went all over the floor, and splashed the side of my shoes.
If I'd noticed they'd splashed the side of my shoes, I might have been able to clean the mess off before it dried. However, I didn't.
90 minutes later, however, I'm having to chip it off...
