The G8 summit opens today in Gleneagles, Perthshire, and there are expected to be big crowds after Robert Frederick Xenon Geldof called for a million people to descend on Edinburgh to protest.
The biggest public protest we had in Britain recently was the million and a half people who turned up to the 2002 Stop the War rally in London. Our Prime Minister had no problem in ignoring the views of this tiny minority of opinion, therefore even if a million people do arrive in Edinburgh it's not going to sway him remotely.
You're wasting your time, chaps.
