Weird
The scene: a woman in Sainsbury's is pushing along her well-laden supermarket trolley, in the child seat of which is a boy aged maybe 2 or 3. Here's the exchange of dialogue between them that I heard:
Boy: Oo! Oo-oo-oo! Oo-oo!
Mother: No, I've got the cheese already.
Boy: Oo-oo! Oo! Oo-oo oo oo!
Mother: No, here it is, look.
(She digs around in the trolley and retrieves a block of cheese).
Boy: Oo! Oo-oo.
It must be some variant of Morse code, I'm thinking.
